This past weekend Beth met her two roommates from college for a “Girl’s Weekend”. Here’s a shot of Paige and Josiah during some pool-time.
Paige on the Playmat
Paige is the perfect centerpiece to this colorful photo.
The past couple of days we’ve had a very hard time getting Ella to take some antibiotics prescribed by her doctor. The first two nights we spent over an hour trying to get her to finish one teaspoon of the icky tasting stuff. Finally, today we offered her the option to take it mixed with yogurt, and she likes it. Yea!
BTW: There’s no fooling this little girl. You’ll note that our solution included some negotiations with the patient.
Our 2011 Christmas Card
On Saturday, December 17, 2011, Beth and I set out to do the impossible: photograph our two girls and make a Christmas card in time for Christmas on the following Sunday. What do you see?

Our neighbors originally put in clear panels to let their cat see outside. Now, Ella likes to take advantage of the view they afford.
Ella and I have been enjoying the rain today. We’ve already been outside twice to stand in the cascade of falling water brought in from the gulf by tropical storm Lee.
Where’s Ella?

I’ve been looking for Ella. Have you seen her?
Daddy’s Funny Hat

After I mow the lawn, Ella likes to wear Daddy’s “Funny Hat”.
